Forest Row Energy Co-operative Ltd is a community owned organisation that promotes energy self-sufficiency within Forest Row and the neighbouring area, through

Energy efficiency

Locally derived renewable energy

We are currently assessing the viability of a number of renewable energy projects in and around the village, focusing on solar PV and biomass technology.

Forest Row Energy is a Co-operative, set up in March 2014 to benefit the whole community by supporting residents to reduce their energy usage and energy costs, as well as producing energy from local renewable sources. Our aim is to increase engagement and understanding in the community about sustainable energy and reduce our carbon footprint.

Our strategy is to build an effective organisation, sustained by profitable growth from activities which benefit our community. Our purpose is to value and protect the local and wider environment by reducing our dependence on energy sources that are linked to climate change, or land, air or water pollution.

Bring your energy bills to the Forest Row Market tomorrow between 10-3pm and we will help you save an average £300 on your energy bills!
